Job Description

Preferan individual that has received IBM certification with:
4 to 6 years of experience administering Power Systems environmentsrunning IBM i
Atleast one major system hardware upgrade (for example POWER5 to POWER6or 7)
Atleast one major operating system upgrade (for example, IBM i 5.4 or6.1 to 7.1)
Atleast one full system restore (as if from a site-down crash)
Someexperience in managing partitioned systems
Strongexperience in using journaling, especially remote journaling
Strongexperience in Mimix replication software administration
Understandingof IBM i security administration, compliance, and access control
Keepsup with Technology Refreshes
Has an awareness with new featuresand functions
Working knowledge of the HMC
Excellentcommand of the English language
Excellent customer communication skills
